Round 8, National Finals, Santa Pod Raceway, England
25th - 26th September 2010
The 2010 Topspeed Automotive Street Eliminator championship closed at the National Finals at Santa Pod Raceway. Rain on race day itself meant the complete loss of eliminations.
Through qualifying there were some bright moments as Brian Payne signed off the season with a new personal best of 8.01
and Stuart Williams lowered the UK Supra stock block record to a stunning 9.52.
And another season of Street Eliminator UK comes to an end. Ian Hook finished top of the pile to take his second SE Championship whilst rookie Brian Payne had a fantastic first season to take the runner up spot. The performance bars have been raised again with a new ET record from Colin Lazenby and the MPH record pushed that little bit closer to 200 by John Sleath. All I can say is well done to ALL who took part and I’m already looking forward to 2011.
